# Storage

The NAS in rack B provides 8 TB of usable space in RAID 6.

It receives the vzdump backups and hosts the team's file shares. Shares are mounted from
`nas.acme.internal`.

A replacement by distributed storage is being studied: see the [Ceph project](../projects/ceph.md).
